John Lennon Songwriting Competition Finalist!  Hailing from the swamps of Chicago, guitarist and songwriter B Forrest’s palette of audible paint contains the colours blues, folk, love, and soul. His debut album entitled “Back to Bodhi” (due out February 2015), was a seed turned tree at the end of last year. The album was recorded among some of Chicago’s finest musicians at The Coach House. It is through singing that the soul is freed from the flesh, so join him in praise, because Buddha believes in thee.

Somewhere between a soul pop concert, South Side jazz club, slam poetry reading, and punk rock dive bar, lives the music of Cole DeGenova... As a pianist, vocalist, and composer Cole DeGenova has spent most of his life crafting his eclectic artistic voice, beginning his career at age 16 as a jazz pianist around his native Chicago. As a bandleader, he started his funky alternative soul group Cole DeGenova & The Peoples Republic at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, where he released his first album JUST PEOPLE AGAIN in 2009. A few years later, DeGenova released his second album ANOTHER COUNTRY.  Now based in Chicago and Los Angeles, he is both an in demand studio musician as well as a touring performer around the globe. He has worked with Lupe Fiasco, Brett Dennen, Chance the Rapper, Gallant, Latin Grammy winner Lucky Diaz, Meshell N'Degeocello, Paula Cole, James Carter, engineer Eddie Kramer, Hey Champ, Dave Shaw, as well as funk group The Heard and experimental jazz trio Hanging Hearts. DeGenova is also a co-founder and organizer for the Chicago artist collective The Gala. His third album THE RADIO HERO MIXTAPE was released spring of 2015. His song “Hollywood Girl” was chosen as a Finalist in the 2015 American Songwriting Awards.

Deep Fayed is the brainchild of Chicago guitarist and songwriter, George Wundsam. The groove-based, alternative vibe that defines Deep Fayed is in constant evolution while sticking to its roots in funk, jazz and hip-hop music with a progressive flare. The fusion of eclectic influences and inventive songwriting gives Deep Fayed a sound that is unlike anything else. ‘Fayed released their debut, self-titled EP in 2013 and their first album "Full Spectrum Of" in 2017. The single “Places We Don’t Go” premiered at Word Is Bond ahead of the LP’s release.
