Cole Williams

Innovative multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and producer Cole Williams has expanded her repertoire to reflect an increasingly eclectic assortment of creative endeavors that represent her original sound and vibe.  Cole has toured heavily with funk band Pimps of Joytime, and offered her vocal stylings to tracks by Joey Bada$$, Chiddy Bang, Aloe Blacc, Little Jackie, Lisa Lisa and The Cult Jam, Diane Birch, Somi, Kaissa, Dana Fuchs and Neurotic Drum Band. She’s also performed with many of these artists on television shows such as Conan, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Good Morning America, Live With Kelly & Michael, and The Today Show.  Recently, Cole Williams moved from Brooklyn to New Orleans, and established herself in the NOLA scene with sold-out shows at the famed Maple Leaf Bar. She is presently a choir director and songwriting instructor with Community Works of New Orleans, an ASCAP affiliated writer and publisher, and WWOZ radio host. In 2016 she performed at the New Orleans Jazz Festival.  On June 3, 2016, Cole releases her fourth studio album, Sin City - The Mixtape, off her label That’s My Worldwide LLC. Entirely composed, produced, arranged, and written by the artist herself, the LP explores composition, texture and storytelling as she covers the dichotomies of life. The album’s first single, “Single Black Femelle,” explores the many faces of false friendship and conveys a message about learning from experiences so you can let go and move forward.
