Astroboogie

 Gaining popularity through raves, pubs, saloons, small festivals, and impromptu dance parties, Astro Boogie has been on the scene for a little over 2 years. However, the two main members, Ben and Berto, have been into the jam and electronica scene since they were kids. From folk-indie, to hippie-hop; from jazz and blues to straight up grime, dubstep, and metal, Astro Boogie does it all. Live performances are described as bassy, hard, funky, and full of boogie.Every scene has an antihero; Astro Boogie isn't quite a band, and isn't quite a DJ or producer set. It's an enigma of blasting bass, meaningful mashups, trance swells, hip hop beats and guitar solos. Every set is different and every song is different. Somewhere between Berto's rhythmic beats and Ben's freeform vocals, clips, synth, and guitar is a flowing beast that screams "Get on your feet!" Boasted to be more full sounding jams than some bands with 5+ members, Astro Boogie assumes the role of the underdog while melting faces across the Midwest.
