Katie Todd has shared the stage with such music scene luminaries as Sarah McLachlan, Patti LaBelle, Train, Steve Winwood, Juliana Hatfield and The Wallflowers. ITunes lauded Katie as one of the "top buzz bands in the country," and she claimed a spot as the website's "Artist of the week," earning nearly 300,000 downloads of their single, "Face Down." Born and raised in Chicago, Katie starting studying classical piano when she was 4 years old. When her older sister started sharing hand-me-down albums by The Beatles, U2 and Cat Stevens, Katie turned onto a different musical path. Katie majored in music at Lafayette College in Easton, PA. After graduation, Katie moved back to Chicago to pursue music full-time. She has performed at Lollapalooza, Lilith Fair, and Summerfest to name a few. Her performances have been said to be inspiring, passionate and full of energy.Now, with 4 studio albums and 1 live album under her belt, Katie is ready to show what she's made of, her more mature and gritty side with her newest release, "CLOSER."
