Nick Lynch

Nick Lynch has been singing and performing all of his life. As a child, he took vocal lessons and participated in various choirs and show choirs. Throughout high school and college, Nick performed with different bands and realized that a career in music was what he wanted to pursue.Nick’s voice reflects the rough but pure sound of his blue collar, small town upbringing in Watseka, Illinois. At times he shows a unique rasp to his high notes reminiscent of Don Henley, yet he consistently shows the range and versatility needed to cover many different genres.Nick is constantly looking to take his vocal and performance abilities to the next level. He has worked with renowned vocal coach, Mark Goff. Mark is well known for his work with a variety of artists from the Backstreet Boys, N’SYNC, and Christina Aguilera, to Scott Staap of Creed.Nick has been a contestant on American Idol three times. He made it to Hollywood , and just missed making the top twenty four. After his first appearance on American Idol, Nick signed a production deal with an Indie label in Orlando . After funding fell through, he was released from his deal, but was not able to gain the rights to his material. He moved home and began singing for the Ken Arlen Orchestra based out of Chicago Illinois. Putting his versitality to good use he has sang in front of all types of crowds at events such as the Kentucky Derby, all types of weddings, political fundraisers, and many more.Currently Nick is very busy taking matters into his own hands. He is independently recording a new cd, which he hopes to release at the end of this summer. Nick has also begun a search for musicians to start a new band in the Chicago land area, which will enable him to get back to what he does best, performing in front of large crowds.
