Falldown

Falldown is a band of Chicago musicians from a wide range of backgrounds who have performed together for years in many different groups. Individually, these band members have performed on major stages all across the country with a variety of musical acts. A mutual interest in alt/country and rock'n'roll has now brought this unique crew together to write and perform original music. The Falldown EP, the band's first studio record, was released in November 2012 and has been featured on college radio and WXRT Chicago's Local Anesthetic. The band continues to play to a diverse range of audiences in 2013 and has plans to record new music before the year is over.


Anna Fermin Band

 Driven by the title track, Someday Afternoon combines Anna Fermin’s folk, country and rockpedigree with her love for pop music. The result is a sunny set of roots pop. From her trademarkalto husk to her honey-soaked highs, this five-song collection is a snapshot of an artist reachingpast her comfort zone, aiming for what she wants and hitting the mark.With the beautiful production of Doug McBride (Veruca Salt, Rachel Yamagata), the EP alsoincludes the tracks “What It Could Be” and “Love Blooms”; simple, sweet love songs filled with acheand anticipation of rediscovered and unlikely love. “Everyday Heroes” and “Everything Changes”center on themes of turning life’s inevitable changes into something wonderful.An award-winning singer/songwriter, Anna is well known as the front woman for the Chicago altcountryband Trigger Gospel. The band toured internationally and has released five albums,including the Jay Bennett produced Oh, the Stories We Hold.Her first solo album The Contender was originally released in 2009 and includes the notable songs“Dragging On” and “Lovely.” The Contender has been digitally re-released to coincide with therelease of Someday Afternoon.Anna has opened for many notable artists including the late great Johnny Cash, David Crosby, andNeko Case, among others. And, Anna had the honor of opening for the artist who inspired hercareer, Steve Earle, where she serenaded the audience with her version of “Down the Road.”The Filipino born singer immigrated to the United States with her family at a young age and foundherself growing up in America’s dairy land, Kenosha, Wisconsin. Classically trained in piano, voice,and violin, she picked up the acoustic guitar when she moved to Chicago.


Phil Angotti Record Release!

Phil Angotti has become a household name in the power-pop musical world, especially in his hometown Chicago where he's been performing for 20 years now. He has performed as a solo act through-out his career, and with several bands, most notably the Fleas, the Scuffle, the Beatle Brothers, Not the Beatles (with Brad & Graham Elvis) and his long-time original group, the Idea.  He has released 10 different albums over the years, been on several CD compilations and tributes, and has made numerous radio appearances as a solo artist, Beatle Brother and leader of the Idea. Known for his strong lead vocals and versatile harmony singing, he is also an innovative guitarist (acoustic and electric). His style is diverse mixture of British 60's power pop, American folk rock, and modern guitar pop, played mostly with an explosive energy and sensibility. As a songwriter - he has proven again and again he can write melodies and hooks with the best of them and his penned numerous original songs (108 recorded to date).
