Martyrs' is proud to welcome Assembly Of Dust on June 24th and 25th to celebrate the release of their new live album "Tales from The Oregon Trail," an energetic journey through some of the renowned jamband’s strongest material, recorded live in concert in Portland, Oregon.  The ten-track release is ripe with both intricate electric improvisation, as well as wood-tinged acoustic intimacy, creating a sound that AOD founder and front man Reid Genauer has endearingly dubbed “face melting folk rock.”  “Reid Genauer is one of my favorite songwriters. His words and melodies have always given an extra bounce to my step. “Reid writes songs that you want to hear and that you want your children to hear. The Future Laureates’ forthcoming EP, Here and After, is a showcase of vibrant and mature songcraft. With the help of producer Chris Grainger (Wilco, Switchfoot, Sixpence None the Richer, and Kopecky Family Band), TFL has finally captured the unabashed energy of their live shows on record. The band delves into varied subject matter, ranging from an apocalyptic escape, to modern love songs, to a eulogy of Don Quixote, told from the perspective of his loyal servant. They also flex some new musical muscles, pulling from their influences in modern rock, classic pop, rhythmic folk, and 60’s soul.  After six years of local and regional shows – highlighted by performances at SXSW and Summerfest, along with airplay on hundreds of college radio stations across North America – The Future Laureates are a band on the rise. They’ve shared crowds with the likes of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes, Drive-By Truckers, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, hellogoodbye, Cory Chisel and the Wandering Sons, and Dawes. With each of these performances, TFL has been exposed to artists who have achieved greater success and hold themselves to a higher standard than most. The result is a newfound confidence, earned through hard work, persistence, and ultimately, experience. Danny Surico, songwriter and co-frontman of the band, sums up the band’s outlook: “Now, more than ever before, we understand who we are and where we’re going.”
